Greetings from Asia-Pacific Support Center!

The APR NSO MoP coordinators have been appointed for the term of 2019-2021. In order to build the capacity of these NSO MoP Coordinators and update their knowledge and skills to be able to perform effectively in their respective NSOs, the Asia-Pacific Region invites all the appointed coordinators to the "5th APR NSO MoP Coordinators Meet" to be hosted by National Scout Organization of Thailand on 09-13 June 2019.

All NSO MoP Coordinators and APR MoP Core Team members are invited to attend this important event. Hereunder is the basic information (further details will be communicated, once we have received the confirmation of participation of your NSO MoP coordinator):

09-13 June 2019 (Participants are expected to arrive on 08 June and leave on 14 June)

National Messenger of Peace Coordinators and Core Team Members from NSOs in Asia-Pacific Region. (Only those NSO MoP coordinators who are appointed for the period of 2019-2021 are eligible to attend this meet)

Aim of the Meet

The aim of this Meet is to gather MoP NSO Coordinators to share the information and experience on MoP Initiative and help acquire knowledge and skills in the promotion of MoP Network and Project Management towards effective implementation of the MoP Program in their respective NSO.


Participants will be able to:

1. Explain development and success stories on the MoP Program (Network & Fund) that took place for the last eight years.

2. Strengthen knowledge and skills on MoP Network & Project Management including on MoP Fund Grant.

3. Identify scope in further strengthening Scouting and communities through MoP projects.

4. Describe Better World Framework and on how Messengers of Peace program contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals.

5. Review the role of NSO MoP Coordinators and expectations.

6. Prepare 3 years NSO action plan on MoP Initiative (2019-2021)

Meet Fee

US$100 per participant to cover local transportation, food (from 08 June dinner to 14 June breakfast), accommodation in (6 nights) sharing rooms, Meet materials.

Working Language

The working language of the Meet is English.

We request you to kindly send us the confirmation of attendance of your NSO MoP coordinator not later than 30th April 2019.
